Because of the changing nature of the profession, and increasingly complex ethical dilemmas faced by our members and the learning disabilities professional community at large, the '1995 Principles' were revised by CLD's Committee on Ethics and Standards. The revised principles were adopted by CLD in September 2007.

2008 CLD ELECTION RESULTS

CLD President, Joseph Boyle, announced that Dr. Caroline (Cari) Dunn from Auburn University has accepted CLD's position of Vice President. Please join us in welcoming her to the CLD Board of Trustees.

ANNOUNCING NRCLD
A national research center, a joint project of researchers at Vanderbilt University and the University of Kansas, has been established to address the complex array of issues facing the learning disabilities field. The National Research Center on Learning Disabilities (NRCLD) received a five-year, $3.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs. Co-directors of the new center are Dan Reschly, chair of the Department of Special Education at Peabody College, Vanderbilt; Doug Fuchs, special education professor at Peabody College; and Donald D.
