MINNESOTA CHAPTER

The Minnesota Council for Learning disabilities was organized as a chapter in the 1980's. It has statewide representation and many leaders in the field of learning disabilities are members. MCLD membership is on the rise and a different approach to budgeting has made this chapter a stable and vibrant organization. MCLD has sponsored an Outstanding Professional and a Teacher of the Year every year. Next year, MCLD is adding Action Reach Grant Awards to its lineup of speaker and workshop sponsorship. Additionally, Minnesota has hosted two extremely successful International CLD conferences.
